Privacy in Practice: Logos at Devconnect in Buenos Aires

With the RealFi Hack now over and the winning projects announced, we’re moving into the next phase of the Privacy in Practice campaign. Up next, we head to Buenos Aires for this year’s Devconnect.

Funding the Commons Builder Residency (24 Oct. to 14 Nov.)

Logos is sponsoring the Funding the Commons Builder Residency running from 24 October to 14 November 2025.

The programme takes place ahead of Devconnect Argentina and invites decentralised infrastructure builders to collaborate on public goods while cohabiting a riverside property on the outskirts of Buenos Aires.

Participation is by application only, but the public can join the residency’s open-house days on 1 Nov. and 8 Nov.

At the residency, Logos contributors will be prototyping applications for Keycard, the smart-card hardware security solution by the Institute of Free Technology, and mentoring builders ahead of the event’s demo day.

All resident builders will receive a free Keycard to hack on, making the Builder Residency a great opportunity to develop on top of its open-source architecture ahead of the launch of Keycard Shell at the end of the year.

Shell is a major breakthrough for crypto asset self-custody. It is a modular open-source hardware wallet that uses Keycard as its secure element. Preorders for the new product are live now and will ship in December.

If you’re a wallet or application developer, contact Keycard to bring hardware-grade security to your project.

Logos Circle: Buenos Aires (16 Nov. and 19 Nov.)

While in Buenos Aires, we’ll host multiple Logos Circles where we’ll be identifying and organising around local winnable issues:

Additional Logos Circles in Argentina are still in the planning phase. We will update this page and the events page when details become available.

Funding the Commons Conference (19 Nov.)

Logos is sponsoring Funding the Commons Buenos Aires, where our co-founder Jarrad Hope will feature as a speaker.

We’ll also distribute a limited number of physical copies of Jarrad’s new book, Farewell to Westphalia, for free in the event’s book corner.

During Funding the Commons Buenos Aires, several Logos contributors will present and host workshops focused on the Logos technology stack. Among them will be a special interactive workshop by Martin Strobl, Logos’ tokenomics specialist. Participants will vote under different privacy and incentive conditions to discover how governance design shapes collective decision making.

P2P Hacker Lounge (22 Nov.)

We’ll be occupying the Huerta Coworking space in Humboldt on 22 Nov. and transforming it into a hacker lounge. The schedule features demonstrations, workshops, and hacking sessions on building open public goods with contributors to Logos, Status, Railgun, Safe, and other aligned organisations.
