1. Introduction
Your participation in the Application process for the Programme involves a limited collection and use of certain information. This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) explains how we handle any personal data that we might collect in connection with your Application and should be considered an addendum to the Logos Privacy Policy (https://logos.co/privacy-policy).
In this Privacy Policy, whenever we refer to “we”, “our”, “us” (or variations thereof) or Logos we are referring to Logos Collective Association, an association registered under the laws of Switzerland, with registered number CHE134145789, and registered office at Baarerstrasse 10, Zug, Switzerland.
Where terms are defined terms, reference should be made to the Application Terms for their respective definitions.
2. Data controllers
For the purposes of the Application process and potential selection of Applicants for the Programme, the relevant data controller is Logos.
The Programme is operationally delivered by C’est La Vie Sport LLP, who operates the Zu-Grama initiative (“Zu-Grama”). Zu-Grama may independently process certain Applicant personal data as a separate controller, including where it determines the purposes and means of processing connected with the operational delivery of the Programme.
Zu-Grama may provide additional privacy information in relation to its processing activities.
3. Information we process
We may collect and process the following types of information in connection with the submitted Application:
- names of persons and their contact details;
- social media handles, such as X, Discord, Signal or otherwise;
- the Logos Circle you participate in;
- your Github handle;
- Information you might submit about yourself and your motivation to participate in the Programme, your intended contribution or project;
- names of person who referred you or people you refer for the Programme;
- the relevant Programme track for which you wish to apply;
- your availability for the Programme;
- accommodation preferences, dietary requirements and accessibility needs;
- Information about requested financial or travel assistance, and where relevant, your willingness to support another Applicant;
- correspondence with Logos; and
- other information shared with Logos and as reasonably required by Logos to administer the Application process, including to determine an Applicant’s eligibility and suitability for the Programme.
Applicants should not submit sensitive personal data unless specifically requested in writing by Logos. We will inform you of another more secure channel to share such information with us as the case may be.
Information concerning accessibility, dietary requirements or financial circumstances will be used only to assess or arrange relevant support for the purposes of administering the Programme.
4. How we use your information
We use the information above described above for the following purposes:
- administer the Application process;
- assess Applicants for their suitability and selection for the Programme;
- communicate with Applicants about their Application and potential selection for the Programme; and
- co-ordinate with relevant reviewers, judges and Programme partners; and
- comply with applicable law and regulatory obligations, including sanctions compliance.
We process this information on the basis of our legitimate interests, namely: (i) administering and operating the Application process; and (ii) managing our legal and regulatory risks, including sanctions compliance obligations.
In addition to the above, we note that Zu-Grama may process relevant information for purposes connected with the operational delivery and administration of the Programme, including where it independently determines the purposes and means of that processing.
5. Data sharing and disclosure
We may share the information described above with our affiliates, service providers, advisors, reviewers and judges who assist us with the administration of the Programme and the selection of Applicants for the Programme. We will always do this in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
Separately, Zu-Grama may independently process relevant Applicant personal data to administer the selection of Applicants for the Programme. Where Zu-Grama processes personal data, they do so as an independent controller and its processing will be subject to its own privacy notice and applicable data-protection obligations.
6. Retention and rights
Logos retains information received from Applicants for as long as necessary to administer the Application process for the Programme and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations, including sanctions compliance. Where permitted by law, you may request deletion of such information or exercise any other rights available under applicable data protection law and as further detailed in the Logos Privacy Policy.
Zu-Grama may retain and process information in accordance with its own purposes, legal obligations and privacy notice.
